Start with honey syrup
n a small saucepan, combine 120ml water and the honey Bring to boil and stir to dissolve honey. Allow to cool to room temperature,.then cover and refrigerate until chilled.
Tips If you want to spice up your lemonade, add 2-3 tbsp. fresh finely chopped ginger after removing the syrup from the heat, cover the pot, leave for 30 minutes and then strain.
For the lemonade Squeeze 5-7 lemons (depending on their size) and put the freshly squeezed lemon juice to a large jug. Add the honey syrup and 1lt cold water and mix well. Adjust the flavour to your taste by adding lemon or honey and put it in the fridge. Serve with ice, lemon slices and thyme and enjoy!
Tips Instead of 1 lt of water you can put 500ml of mineral water and 500ml of sparkling water. In this case, add the sparkling water to the jug before serving. You can keep it in the refrigerator in a glass bottle with a lid (without herbs) for 1 week.
